Hospice volunteers are needed for this summer and beyond! Are you a compassionate and caring person who wants to brighten the lives of others? Our volunteers work with patients with terminal illness, providing companionship, light housekeeping, and respite for their caregivers. We are looking for volunteers with special talents such as music, art, photography, hairdressing, or cooking. Are you excited about honoring veterans in our community? Get involved with our We Honor Veterans program. We are also looking for administrative assistance or help with bereavement or spiritual care. Most of all, we are searching for volunteers with big hearts!
We are looking for volunteers willing to drive to visit patients at their home or facility at which they reside. Our patients are all over the Atlanta area, from Roswell to Jonesboro, from Powder Springs to Loganville and everywhere in between. Some of our patients reside in the Decatur area, where our administrative office is housed.

Sincerely Symponia, Inc.'s mission is to provide education, resources, and community outreach programs to aid hospice patients and their families during their time of need. Symponia in Greek means compassion and this is the founding principle on which our charity is formed.
Description
Volunteer with Sincerely Symponia to make a difference in your community. Compassionate volunteers are needed to help hospice patients and their families. Our volunteer program sends trained volunteers into the community to provide companionship, light housework, and support to patients facing terminal illness. The primary way Sincerely Symponia wishes to make a positive impact to persons that are enrolled in the hospice community is to offer small personal grants to hospice patients to help them with critical expenses during the closing stages of their lives. Sincerely Symponia understands that many individuals that are enrolled in a hospice care center often times lack the funds to cover critical expenses related to their hospice care stay or health. We will offer an emergency family assistance grants for hospice members or their immediate family that face these issues. Sincerely Symponia strives to provide financial backing for unique programs such as music therapy which can help enhance the quality of life of people with terminal illness.
