We seek to add experts to our Advisory Board with possible promotion to the Board of Directors. In addition, we seek those interested in actively supporting our mission as we expand programs and organizational capacity. Both options are volunteering positions, meaning participation and a commitment to contribution are expected. This is a voluntary, uncompensated position with the opportunity to significantly reduce paint waste, protect the environment, and provide paint to underserved communities worldwide. We welcome highly qualified applicants from diverse backgrounds across the globe.

Again, this is a volunteer position to become an advisory board member, offering a reasonable portion of time to the mission of Global Paint for Charity to fulfill the position's requirements, including routine meetings and responsiveness to the public.

You will be asked to select up to two committees from the list below:

  • Waste Management and Environment Committee
  • Logistics and Supplies Chain Operations Committee
  • Volunteers and Events Committee
  • Fundraising and Audit Committee
  • Legal and Finance Committee
  • Community Renovation or Redevelopment Committee
  • Green Implementation Advisory Committee
  • National Historic Preservation and Beautification Committee
  • Public Arts and Murals Advisory Committee
  • Site Plan Review and Appearance Committee
Essential Job Duties

The Advisory board member meets with the CEO or the Board once a month or quarterly (9 members total) for approximately one hour. This can also attend the meeting virtually or attend the in-person Atlanta conference. In addition, advisory board members would assist GPC and the CEO with the following:

  • Through a 1/1 meeting, as an Advisory Board member, you will provide consultative assistance to the organization's administration to ensure that the company continually strives to meet the operations' needs in our community.
  • Review and give feedback on operational plans and the development of our strategic goals and financial resources available for strategic growth.

We are a team of passionate individuals who want to protect the environment and give back to our community with the best colors possible. We would greatly appreciate your help!

The Global Paint for Charity, Inc. collects leftover paint from businesses and individuals, consolidates, repackages the color, and distributes it to other charitable causes, vulnerable individuals, and families in third-world COUNTRIES and 40 cities in the United States.

About Global Paint for Charity Inc

Location:

Peachtree Parkway, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092, US

Mission Statement

Mission is to recover Latex paint from businesses and residents to change the lives of people in underserved communities throughout the world, one gallon at a time. Since 2010, as many as 320,000 tons of discarded paints have been removed from the waste stream, recycled, then shipped to 45 countries in West Africa, the Caribbean, Central & South America, and targeted cities in the U.S. The goal is to use colors to help beautify the local structures, boost people's confidence and happiness, change lives, and assist vulnerable individuals in reaching their full potential. Everyone wins!

Description

Our efforts have reached a population of 13000000. Our worldwide volunteers have completed 625800 volunteer hours by painting beautiful murals and family homes, including schools, sports centers, orphanages, churches, and homeless shelters. At Global Paint, we believe everyone deserves to live in a beautiful and colorful environment, no matter their circumstances; increasing access to paint in underserved communities could improve the local economic power for millions of vulnerable families and uplift the spirit of the people.

Whether you’re a partner, donor, funder, or volunteer - we can do even more together.
