Do you want to make a meaningful impact in the world? If so, you should volunteer for Dallas Public Library's Senior Phone Pals program! Senior Phone Pals is an awesome program which allows volunteers to speak on the phone with senior citizens every week. Multilingual volunteers are highly encouraged to apply!
This volunteer opportunity is open to any volunteer living in or outside of Dallas.
The goal of this program is for you as the volunteer to forge bonds and meaningful connections with senior citizens. Some of the volunteer requirements are:
- You must be at least 18 years old to volunteer for Senior Phone Pals
- Long-term commitment is an absolute must (at least 3 months)
- Have reliable access to a phone
- Access to the internet
- Complete volunteer training & attend a mandatory Q&A session
