Strong Girls Powerful Leaders (SGPL) girl's mentorship program is an innovative program designed for and by East African women and girls. SGPL is a cohort based model designed to inform, empower, educate and inspire East African girls from refugee and immigrant backgrounds. Through retreats, discussion forums, art and culture experiences, one-on-one mentorship and counseling and girls leadership development, SGPL works to increase healthy self-esteem, East African cultural pride and preparation for College admission.

Strong Girls Powerful Leaders Mentorship program works to identify and recruit successful East African professional women to inform, inspire, educate and empower East African girls.
