The Second Chance Connections Inc, is a community base-Non-Profit that offers social services to at -risk families in the Memphis,The Hispanic families in the Shelby County Memphis area are facing many challenges such as employment, language barriers, access to community services, and barriers in obtaining necessary documentation. We are looking for compassionate bi-lingual mentors who are willing to work with the Hispanic/Latino community in our community so that the families may become self-efficient and self-empowered.

We are looking for adult Spanish speaking or bi-lingual adults to work as a mentor for the Hispanic/Latino population in our community.


Seeking Female Volunteers: Yes

Seeking Male Volunteers: Yes

Minimum Match Commitment (in months): 12 months or longer

Type of Mentoring: One-to-One, Group, Team, Peer

Youth Population Served: Academically At-Risk, General Youth Population, Homeless/Runaway, Incarcerated Parent, LGBTQ Youth, Low Income, School Drop-Out, Single-Parent Household
