Our mission is to empower girls to imagine a broader future for themselves through a curriculum grounded on female role models, delivered by college women mentors, who are themselves mentored by professional women. Our vision is that every girl and woman will realize her inner strengths to dream and do. Strong Women, Strong Girls (SWSG) is a multi-generational, girl-serving organization in Boston. SWSG delivers a skills-building mentor program to help girls overcome obstacles. Our program is aligned with the 6C's framework for positive youth development which develops 6 protective competencies for young people: connection, caring, contribution, character, competence, and confidence. The Strong Women, Strong Girls team ensures that girls and women in Boston develop skills, relationships, and role models to ensure future success.
Additionally, we partner with Strong Women in the professional Boston community, to carry out our multi-generational mentoring model through our Strong Leaders Network.

In every phase of a woman's life there is a great need for mentorship. The Strong Leaders Network provides professional women with the opportunity to invest in the next generation by engaging with college mentors who are directly interacting with young girls to foster mutual cycles of empowerment. The multi-generational connections provide an enriching experience
of learning and growing together. We seek professional women to serve as a member for a minimum of one year, attend mandatory trainings/meetings/conference calls, and pledge a participation gift during your active year. Our professional women mentors engage in mentorship and empowerment of college women and 3rd - 5th grade girls from across the Greater Boston area, collaborate and learn from other strong and influential professional women, and have the opportunity to enhance your professional growth.
