Milagro Center's Mentoring Miracles Program matches a caring adult volunteer one-on-one with a child or teen with the simple goal of showing the child or tee that someone cares about them. By fostering nurturing, supporting, and intergenerational relationships, mentors help build a child's self-esteem and let a child know that they are not alone in dealing with day to day challenges. Mentors are required to be at least 16 year of age and able to make a minimum 1-year commitment. Mentors are recommended to visit once a week and all visits are held on site and supervised by Milagro Center staff.

Milagro Center recruits mentors who act as positive role models and who have an interest in spending quality time with a child or youth. In addition to our adult mentors, who we seek to be at least 18 years of age, Milagro Center also has a Youth Mentor program in which our enrolled high school students will serve as peer-to-peer mentors to our younger youth.
