Reality Check Mentoring Inc. is an organization dedicated to developing the minds of young males of color through mentoring focused on character development and education. We strive to help our males realize that they can become valuable assets to society. Our mission is to encourage personal growth for young males of color

Mentors roles can include but, are not limited to: speaking with mentees about their real world experience, helping run Reality Check Mentoring sessions, and lending their expertise to developing the mentoring curriculum.

Most of our mentors' time will be spent during Reality Check Mentoring Inc. sessions. These sessions are expected to last 2 hours.

Mentors are expected to:

Be able to commit to at least 4-8 hours per month (1st and 3rd Saturday of each month).
Be able to pass a FBI & State Fingerprint Search for Maryland
Believe in the mission and vision of Reality Check Mentoring Inc.
Have a passion for working with youth in their communities
