ORGANIZATION: The Training Center

The Training Center is an academic enrichment program that partners with families and students to empower students to develop academically, socially and physically. One of the components of the program is one on one mentoring. Students are paired with an adult from the community. Students meet with the mentor outside of our schedule program to be encouraged to develop healthy habits, reinforce positive social behavior, and know someone is there just for them.

Mentors commit to one year of partnering with their student and family. Able to meet a minimum of 1 hour per week outside of school and Training Center hours. Required to complete mentoring notes activities and time spent with student. References required.
