BEST! (Building Extraordinary Success Today) Mentoring Program offers leadership and mentoring opportunities to 5th-8th graders while focusing on future career choices, life skills, and building positive relationships. One-on-One mentoring is conducted onsite at school facilities with off-site group activities held throughout the year. The power of one hour of mentoring once per week during the school year can bring extraordinary hope and change in the lives of young people.

We are seeking a diverse set a mentors that have a heart for giving hope and direction to youth that may not have either. Mentors must be 21 years old or older and have reliable transportation. Mentors must be able to commit to a minimum of one hour per week for a period of one year or more and attend annual training. Caring, dependable, supportive, and a good listener are just four qualities which we believe make a good mentor and increase the likelihood of a positive match. BEST! also sponsors several outdoor activities for its mentors and mentees each year, so a love of the outdoors is appreciated.
