Junior Achievement teaches students in grades K-12 about financial literacy, career and college readiness, and entrepreneurship. We utilize nearly 10,000 volunteer mentors each year to deliver our programs to schools in Minnesota, North Dakota and western Wisconsin. By sharing their personal and professionals experiences, our volunteers serve as role models to local students while opening a window to the "real world."
We are seeking volunteers who are willing to share their personal and professional experiences with local students to help them envision a successful future. You'll be delivering our fun, hands-on, age-appropriate curriculum about financial literacy, career and college readiness, and entrepreneurship to students in grades K-12. No teaching experience is needed, just a desire to positively impact kids' lives. Teachers are required to remain in the classroom while volunteers are present. We'll provide all the training and materials needed to be successful. This is a short-term commitment, ranging from one to 13 session, depending on the grade level and program. Our volunteer opportunities take place during the school day; choose from more than 700 schools throughout Minnesota, North Dakota and western Wisconsin.
