The Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors brings together wildlife conservation organizations, state fish and wildlife agencies and youth mentoring organizations by coordinating efforts among these groups to maximize outdoor exposure to interested youths. Targeting at-risk youth, we recruit mentors who will share their time outdoors with children who would otherwise not have the opportunity to experience traditional outdoor sports.
Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors works to unite outdoor recreation stakeholders in a coordinated, comprehensive effort to assemble a cohesive coalition that will create a sustainable, coordinated effort to expand opportunities for young people and interested adults to participate in traditional outdoor recreational activities and learn the importance of preserving our conservation heritage.

Mentors should be interested in spending time outdoors with their mentee. Ideally, we are looking for experienced hunters and anglers who will share their passion for the outdoors with their mentee. Inexperienced outdoorsmen/women are welcome. We have volunteers who will assist the mentors with their outdoor skills development.
