Based in Charleston, South Carolina, R3 Inc. (Real Talk Real Action Real Results) is an organization inspired by a passion to uplift youth. We equip the youth with the tools to enhance positive behavior, self-worth, self-esteem and educational achievement. Through superior programs and supportive partners, we aim to enrich the lives of our youth.
We assist many youth every year, focusing on educational, physical and social development. We promote healthy peer, community and family relationships through a culture that nurtures self-worth, accountability, good decision making and excellence in communication. Our unique approach to youth empowerment is long lasting. Many of the youth begin their journey with R3 Inc. before the age of 10. We believe and have a passion for supporting children throughout their impressionable elementary years well into their young adult years. We continue to provide a support system of positive motivation. Our empowerment sessions and character building activities have assisted the youth in achieving their goals. As a result of our timeless service to the youth many of their lives have progressed with purpose.
A mentor is willing to teach what he/she knows and accept the mentee where they currently are in their young life. Good mentors can remember what it was like being a youth. The mentor does not take the mentoring relationship lightly and understands that good mentoring requires time and commitment and is willing to continually share information and their ongoing support with the mentee. Mentoring can help youth as they go through challenging life transitions, including dealing with stressful changes at home or transitioning to young adulthood.
