The SONS Talented TENTH is a college and career readiness program that targets "at risk" , low income and traditionally marginalized populations but not limited to. The program recruits students from high schools in the Port Huron area. We hold a "Saturday Academy" during the school year on-site at St. Clair County Community College. The Saturday sesionsconsist of soft-skill workshops, team building, professional develpment, speakers, projects and college and industry tours.
The on-site school day segment is held at Port Huron High school utilizing the award winning "Winning Futures" program.

Person who can share professional life experiences in a small group setting, along with an ability and desire to connect with students. Ability to listen and communicate effectively. Need to have 45 minutes available for 20 weeks during the school year.

Minimum Match Commitment (in months): 4 months
