ORGANIZATION: Leadership and Mentoring Academy (LMA)

The LMA is a mentoring program that focuses on males in grades 6-12. Young men in our program have been recognized as being more successful and better prepared for life by their peers, school administrators, and the community. We expose our young men to networking, leader-ship opportunities, and inspire them to exceed expectations. We promote success and post-secondary education, while providing exposure to mentors who serve as positive male role models.

A strong desire to help young men succeed in life. A desire to develop a positive relationship with mentee. A desire to mentor one-one-one.
Our mentoring vision is to help prepare our youth to be Respectful, Responsible and Ready to Lead. We help our youth improve self-esteem and GPA, graduate from high school and post-secondary opportunities while developing leadership skills.

Mentoring Program Goals: Career Exploration, Education/Academic Support, Friendship/Socialization, Healthy Behaviors, Reduce Recidivism

Ages of Youth Served: 11-14, 15-18
