Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana is a non-profit 501(c)(3), youth service organization providing one-to-one mentoring services to at risk youth since 1967. Our mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. We serve youth ages 7-16 in 10 Kentucky counties and 3 Southern Indiana counties through community-based and school-based mentoring programs. Our National Affiliate, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, is the nation's oldest and largest youth mentoring organization founded in 1904.

Doing good is a beautiful thing. As a Big, you can give a child an opportunity to see beyond their everyday world and dream big. It's good for your Little, as well as your community. And it can start with simply letting them enjoy the things you already love to do, but can grow into something bigger.

For just a few hours, a couple times a month, you can give a Little the invaluable gift of your friendship. By simply changing their perspective of what the world can offer, you can literally start changing their lives. Play a board game. Make fun crafts. Hit the playground together. Just as your options are unlimited, so is your Little's potential.

Ready to be a Big Brother or Big Sister? Just fill out our simple online application. After you complete it, a Big Brothers Big Sisters staff member will contact you shortly. You'll need to:
*attend an orientation (virtual and online options are available)
*participate in an interview (virtual at this time)
*complete a background check
*provide references
