ORGANIZATION: Youth Mentoring of the Southern Tier

We provide site-based mentoring programs to youth ages 7-17. Mentors meet with their mentees for one hour, one night per week, at a designated site location. All activities are planned and facilitated by our Site-Coordinators.

We ask that our mentors be able to make at least a one year commitment to the program. Mentors must be available to meet with their mentees for one hour each week on a designated day and site-location. Mentors must complete an application, in-person interview, reference and background check. Our staff plans and facilitates all activities at weekly meetings. Mentors have no contact with their mentees outside of program.
