Food on the Move (FOTM) is a direct service program for individuals living in areas of Illinois and Missouri with limited access to healthy food and resources. The goal is to increase access by eliminating transportation barriers on a more regular basis. We also hope to minimize food waste by allowing people to choose quantities and products that fit their needs. Volunteers who come out will help set up the FOTM Trailer, stock product in the trailer, break down boxes, sign neighbors in, help neighbors sign up for SNAP Referrals, and more! This distribution is an outside event. Please wear closed toed shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather.
DRIVERS NEEDED! Must have experience driving a Ford F150 or similar vehicle and pulling a 28FT utility trailer, boat, or camping trailer. Clean driving record and personal insurance. Events are scheduled on weekdays. Drivers can sign up for events that fit with their personal schedules. Call Kobi Gillespie at 314-227-3727 for more information.
