An Event Volunteer is needed to assist in day of event logistics for Walk to Defeat ALS Miami. The Event Volunteer assists Chapter Regional Event Coordinator and Committee Volunteer Lead with logistics and volunteer management during the event.
The volunteers work from 6:30am until 1pm. This includes attending a zoom meeting/ orientation for day of event procedures and assignments; zoom details will be sent via email. The meeting will be scheduled week of event.
The Walk to Defeat ALS Miami has a direct impact on people living with ALS by raising awareness and funds to realize the mission of The ALS Association Florida Chapter: creating a world without ALS. The Chapter is fighting this disease by participating in advocacy, providing patient services, helping fund research, and providing financial support to statewide multidisciplinary ALS clinics and research facilities, enabling them to increase quality patient care.
The Walk to Defeat ALS Miami will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Tropical Park in Miami.
