The Assemble to Serve (TATS) Food Pantry has been committed to ending food insecurity in Muscogee County since the spring of 2017. Our Food Pantry takes place on the second Tuesday of every month, and it is housed on the campus of Beth Salem Presbyterian Church (USA). Within the walls of Beth Salem's Laing Building, volunteers from various backgrounds assemble to feed 600-800 members of their community.
Here are some of the things you may do as a TATS Food Pantry volunteer:
- Sorting and packing. You will aid in assembling boxes of food for distribution.
- Assisting at Drive-Thru Pantries/No-Contact Distributions. You will place boxes of groceries in clients' vehicles.
