Come and join an awesome group of Christians who are working to help orphans around the world!

The COTN-USA Resource Department (Silverdale, WA) is looking for virtual or local volunteers to assist the Resource Director with locating key supplies to be sent to one of our five partner countries. Tasks include:

  • Find deals and sales for key supplies (online research, calls, contacts etc...)
  • Call businesses and supply contacts on behalf of COTN Resources
  • Contact stores in local area(s) as well as chain stores
  • Complete online applications for donation requests
  • Apply for in-store credit or store spending cards to purchase key supplies

This position can be completed in-office, viritually, or a mix of both. For in-office volunteers, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are best.

Ideally, volunteers will come with a basic understanding of Children of the Nations (we have a great website - check it out! :) We're happy to answer questions for you!

State and local COVID 19 protocols are in place for this position.

Children of the Nations (COTN) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising children who transform nations. Founded in 1995, the organization currently provides holistic care to orphaned and destitute children in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda,Liberia, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. By partnering with nationals, they establish full-care residential Children's Homes (for orphans) and Village Partnership Programs (to benefit orphans and children living with destitute families or caregivers who are unable to properly provide for them). Children of the Nations believes that true, lasting, and meaningful change to a nation begins with the children, and so they are their mission.
