Musically Fed is collecting much needed dry goods and essential items to help stock the shelves at Second Harvest of Middle Tennessee. Thanks to Tedeschi Trucks Band, Big Spring Entertainment, Renee Pfefer and On Tour PR, we will be conducting drives at the Tedeschi Trucks Band shows at Hop Springs Brew Park on June 19 and 20.
Musically Fed is a 501(c)(3) that in "normal times" works with artists, promoters, management and venues nationwide to donate unused backstage meals to community organizations that feed the homeless, hungry, and food insecure.
When the pandemic hit and the touring industry shut down, we shifted our focus to the many music industry workers that are without food or decent nourishment due to COVID-19. Many of the people we are serving are not eligible to receive unemployment benefits and most likely will be the last to return to full time work. We have been conducting drive-through food distributions around the country in Atlanta, Minneapolis, LA, Phoenix, San Diego, Nashville, and Austin.

Description
We work with artists, promoters, management and venues nationwide to donate unused backstage meals to community organizations that feed the homeless, hungry and food insecure. Musically Fed identifies the opportunities, procures the resources, and coordinates all aspects of food handling, transport, and distribution. Our daily goal is to make it easy for promoters and performers to leave each city they visit with a lasting positive impact.
Over the past five years, our Phoenix-based non-profit has provided meals to thousands in need across America. Your support enables us to grow.
