Do you enjoy being a support and comfort to others?

Pillars Hospice Home is an eight bed residential home in Oakdale that provides care to hospice patients and their families. Our goal is to provide an environment that is peaceful and supportive in their end-of-life journey.

Our volunteers add a special layer of comfort to patients and families. Cooking and serving meals, stocking linens, visiting with patients, welcoming visitors and assisting staff are all ways volunteers add unique support to everyone in the home. Additional opportunities include gardening, sewing, and special projects.

In-depth training on general hospice information and specific Pillars roles is given. General shifts are in the morning and evenings and schedules are flexible.

Volunteers are special members of an amazing team of people! We would love to talk with you about how your skills and compassion can benefit patients and families at Pillars. Contact us today and we will share with you all the ways you can help Pillars Hospice Home!
