Are you a planner? Do you love organizing events? Would you be willing to devote time to help Special Olympics plan their spring events in the Forysth County area? We need your help! Share your contact information with us and more details will be provided. Don't delay, sign up today!

Special Olympics North Carolina is looking for numerous volunteers in North Carolina to join our Games Event Planning Team for our future local competitions and fundraising events that will be planned throughout the state this spring and summer.

• Each team will include 6-10 Volunteer Event Planners and will work with our team and the local programs on planning and execution.
• Dates and specific locations are to be determined.
• Our Games Management Team needs are in the following areas: Information Services, Logistics, Meals, Media Relations, Results, Volunteer Management, Media and Security.
• Time Commitment: Typically 6 hours per day for 1-2 days. Training and meetings in advance of the event are required as well.

Our staff and experienced management team members will work with you to pair you with the right opportunity based on our needs and your skills and availability. No prior Special Olympics experience is necessary. Special Olympics NC Orientation and training can all be done online. Our next training is scheduled for January 31 - March 7 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. each Monday via zoom.
