Navian Hawaii, formerly known as Hospice Hawaii, is looking for Veterans to volunteer and participate in Veterans Pinning Ceremonies honoring our patients and families.
A Veterans Pinning Ceremony publicly acknowledges the military service and sacrifices made by the Veteran and his/her family. This is a beautiful opportunity for our patients with military background to share some of their stories and provides insight into the importance of their military service. The Veteran Volunteer will help us commemorate the Veteran Patient’s service and dedication. Since the volunteer and patient are both Veterans, it enhances the bond and connection between them.
At Navian Hawaii, you’ll be joining an amazing team of dedicated volunteers that actively serve our patients and families. An initial screening and training process is required to become a Navian Hawaii volunteer. We offer support and guidance throughout your volunteer experience, as well as provide you with continuing education opportunities.
If you have a passion for working with people and have a desire to bring hope, reduce fears, and impact lives, we'd love to hear from you! To apply, please visit our website: https://www.navianhawaii.org/volunteer/volunteer-application/

Mission Statement
To Bring Hope, Reduce Fears, and Impact Lives.
Description
As Hospice Hawaii, we provided Hospice Care at journey’s end. Now as Navian Hawaii, we provide care for every life journey. Our company is comprised of two distinct service lines: Navian Hospice Hawaii, serving hospice patients, and Navian Integrated Care Hawaii, serving patients who are still receiving curative treatment.
Navian is a combination of words "Navigator" and "Guardian." As a navigator, we provide clarity and guidance through times of uncertainty. As a guardian, we care for people and protect their wishes. Navian Hawaii is here to guide and assist patients and their families through difficult times, providing Integrated Care to patients battling serious illnesses or delivering Hospice Care to patients nearing their end-of-life journey.
