Someone to help coordinate the group of volunteers assisting our organization. Flexible hours.
We serve our Haitian families, some of our volunteers are in the phone support line with families affected by COVID-19. We have health advocates and consumer advocates as volunteers.

Dedicated to providing moral and emotional support to Haitians living in the States, overseas, and in Haiti. To execute programs with an emphasis on strengthening families and promoting self-improvement. Utilizing a 24 hr support phone line, media avenues, and several educational activities.

Description

Haitian Support Inc.(HSI) was founded in 1993. We provide 24hr. support hotline for Haitians and those who serve this community. HSI also trains and recruits volunteers to assist other agencies. HSI organizes educational and cultural activities in the community. HSI works with the population on issues of Human Trafficking, Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Victims of any crime, and sexual harassment. We provide assistance to emergency support services, also hosts television and radio educational shows in Haitian-Creole language on issues of concern to immigrant families.
