Have you always loved dogs since you were a kid? Do you need to complete volunteer hours? Have you thought that maybe you would like to go to school to be a Vet someday? Have you considered working at a shelter because you want to help dogs go thru the emotional adjustment period of being unwanted to becoming an adoptable dog?
Would love to find someone who really wants to learn how we do what we do to save the lives of puppies & dogs ---- in the hopes that going forward you would be able to use that experience personally to save more lives yourself.
Seeking volunteer workers for approximately 5-10 hours a week -- 1-3 days a week, days or weekends that would be willing to teach (experienced a must) training & leash manners with our rescued dogs.
Hours are flexible but we do ask that no earlier than 10 AM. Basic training can be done inside the adoption center but due to the heat of summer training leash manners evenings would be best in the evenings when it cools off.
Must LOVE dogs & be willing to do all the work that goes on behind the scenes to keep our foster-based rescued working well! All pups/dogs who are mostly mutts & hounds have sweet & gentle personalities.
For the right candidate, if you find this is the type of work you really enjoy ...... this could become a part-time paid position. You'll be able to helpmove our rescued dogs throughout our rescue process & you'll get to see thanks to your efforts they'll find their new parents and go home to start their new life!
We are looking for volunteers no younger than 21-years of age. You cannot be hesitant to work with large dogs. If interested send an email to: Marleen at email@example.com & let me know why you are interested in this opportunity, any experience with dogs in your personal life.
Masks & gloves, which are provided, must be worn at all times to prevent Covid-19. Director has had both Covid vaccine shots since 3-24-21.

About LNF Dog Rescue
70 Ivy Lane, 19720, New Castle, DE, DE 19720, US
At LnF Dog Rescue our passion is rescuing dogs/pups but our primary goal is to ensure that each pet we adopt out is spayed or neutered. Since we guarantee that our pets cannot reproduce, they cannot contribute offspring to add to the overpopulation in our community.
We rescue homeless and unwanted dogs/pups from shelters, foster them in our homes, and find homes for them.
