LnF Dog Rescue - SNAPS

****Must be experienced, at least 18 years old & have experience in teaching basic dog training & teaching leash manners to a dog who most likely has never even been on a leash!

Have you always loved dogs since you were a kid? Do you need to complete volunteer hours? Have you thought that maybe you would like to go to school to be a Vet someday? Have you considered working at a shelter because you want to help dogs go thru the emotional adjustment period from being unwanted to becoming adoptable dogs?

Would love to find someone who really wants to learn how we do what we do to save the lives of puppies & dogs ---- in the hopes that going forward, you would be able to use that experience personally to save more lives yourself.

Seeking volunteer workers for approximately 2-3 hours a week -- 1-3 days a week, days or weekends that would be willing to teach (experienced a must) training & leash manners with our rescued dogs.

All pups/dogs, who are primarily mutts & hounds, have sweet & gentle personalities.

We are looking for volunteers at least 18 years of age. You cannot be hesitant to work with large dogs. If interested, send an email to: Marleen at animalrescue@comcast.net & let me know why you are interested in this opportunity and any experience with dogs in your personal life.

Masks & gloves, which are provided, must be worn at all times to prevent Covid-19. Director has had both Covid vaccine shots & boosters as of 05/01/2023

"Our goal is ensuring that each pet finds the perfect home for them for life -- but it takes a lot of work to make that all happen!"
