Remote Area Medical is proud to serve with the Tennessee Smokies for another season! Commit to a 3-hour shift (5 pm-8 pm) at any Somikies home game to aid with concessions, food distribution, and assorted needs to receive a free ticket to attend a home game of your choice. Additionally, t-shirts will be provided to volunteers on-site to wear during the shift. The Tennessee Smokies will make a donation to RAM for each volunteer willing to donate their time on RAM's behalf as all donations are to support RAM's mission "to prevent pain and alleviate suffering by providing free, quality healthcare to those in need". Remote Area Medical (RAM) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Rockford, TN. RAM provides free dental, medical, and vision care to those in need. Our mission is to prevent pain and alleviate suffering by providing free, quality healthcare to those in need. We do this by operating free dental, vision, and medical services to underserved and uninsured individuals across the United States and internationally. Through the contributions of over 155,000 volunteers, RAM has treated over 835,000 people and 68,500 animals, delivering more than $150 million worth of free health care services.
