Help Distribute Food to Families

The Building Block of Natrona holds a free, monthly distribution of food and cosmetics for local families. The event is called Veggies for All and is always held on the third Saturday of each month. Volunteers arrive at noon and typically leave about 2 pm.

The event provides fresh produce and essential cosmetic items (soap, shampoo, bath tissue, etc.) to local families in need.

Through COVID, the organization received foundation support to help families suffering from the economic and health impacts of the pandemic by providing additional food each month. In addition, Hanes provided hundreds of face masks to distribute to local families at no cost to help prevent the spread of the virus.

We are seeking volunteers to help with this monthly event. Tasks typically involve unloading boxes and bags from a van and into the building (for those who are able), prepping tables for the food distribution, placing food items into grocery bags during the event, and light clean up. Most volunteers participate regularly but take off as needed throughout the year.
