Position Title: KidzAct Education Assistant
Description: The classroom assistant supports the KidzAct instructor with student supervision and, if applicable, instructional assistance.
Responsibilities: Usual assignments include taking class attendance; escorting students to different classrooms or stages; assisting with supervision during class; and monitoring safe pickups after class. Additional duties vary depending on the needs of the class and the background and interests of the KidzAct classroom assistant. Tasks may include reviewing lines; teaching songs or dance steps; setting props and set pieces; or leading theatre games.

Description
The Naples Players is Naples' premier community theatre located in a state of the art facility opened in 1998. Volunteers fill every type of performance and production job available in 16 adult and youth productions on two stages annually. A volunteer force of 600+ members contributed over 60,000 hours this past year. KidzAct Youth Theatre of The Naples Players serves 700+ children annually providing basic to advanced theatre skills classes. The Naples Players is dedicated to providing high-quality arts access to every member of the community - including those with additional needs. The Naples Players provides acting classes for individuals with autism, anxiety, Parkinsons and sensory friendly performances.
