Meals on Wheels in Franklin Park (Leyden Township) is looking for out-going volunteers to help in the following areas:
Meal Delivery Drivers in Franklin Park to deliver 13 meals
Monday, Wednesday and/or Thursday
Meals are picked up at our Leyden Township Meals on Wheels location, 10040 Addison Avenue, Franklin Park
All drivers must be 18 years or older. Volunteer Meal Delivery Drivers receive mileage reimbursement.
Meal Delivery Drivers in Schiller Park to deliver meals to 10 seniors
Tuesdays and/or Thursdays
Meals are picked up at our Leyden Township Meals on Wheels location, 10040 Addison Avenue, Franklin Park
All drivers must be 18 years or older. Volunteer Meal Delivery Drivers receive mileage reimbursement.
Meal Delivery Drivers in Northlake to deliver meals to 8 seniors
Mondays and/or Fridays
Meals are picked up at our Leyden Township Meals on Wheels location, 10040 Addison Avenue, Franklin Park
All drivers must be 18 years or older. Volunteer Meal Delivery Drivers receive mileage reimbursement.
Kitchen Volunteers
Looking for 1 or 2 volunteers each day, Monday thru Friday
8am until Noon
Kitchen Volunteers must be age 18 or older.
Your time can have a huge impact on a senior in your community!

Our vision is to live in an environment where seniors and persons with disabilities are valued and are an active part of our community. We currently serve nearly 600,000 meals a year to over 7,500 seniors and persons with disabilities in Suburban Cook, Kendall & Grundy Counties.

Join us for lunch!
Fight against hunger by giving back to the older adults in your community! The Community Nutrition Network needs your help serving meals at our café sites as well as delivering meals to homebound adults. These opportunities can last anywhere from 1-3 hours and are located at various sites throughout the northern Illinois area.
At The Community Nutrition Network, we strive to keep older adults and persons with disabilities an active part of their community by providing them with the support they need. Much more than a meal, our programs combat depression and isolation, offers companionship, and provides safety checks for homebound adults.
