Counselors Needed!! Come join us for a life changing week! Invite a friend... or 2 or 3! Camp Infinity is an overnight camping experience for teens & young adults with physical and/or developmental disabilities. Camp Infinity is a program of FOCUS, in partnership with Camp Twin Lakes. Camp Infinity will take place July 24th - July 30th, 2021 in Rutledge, GA. Please review the eligibility requirements before applying to volunteer. Requirements All Volunteers must
- Be at least 18 years old
- Complete online application
- Consent to a background check
- 2021 Specific- be willing to complete a PCR COVID Test/or proof of vaccination and pre-screening temperature log during the weeks leading up attending camp (specific COVID procedure details will be shared after acceptance)
- Participate in interview
- Complete a reference check
- Partake in a pre-camp training (TBD)

Mission Statement
FOCUS provides emotional, informational, and physical support to parents of children with disabilities or with ongoing medical needs. FOCUS families deal with a variety of developmental delays, including rare syndromes, cerebral palsy, heart problems, immune deficiencies, and neurological involvement. FOCUS provides a network of parents who share common experiences with each other. FOCUS families provide each other with a sense of community, sharing the joys and frustrations of parenting a child with extra-special needs.
Description
Just some of the ways FOCUS supports families: Extra Special Saturday Respite, Camp Hollywood summer day camp, Camp Team summer day camp, Fun family activities, Gatherings for medically fragile families, Annual education conference, Under the Stars family retreat weekends, Camp Infinity overnight camp for teens, Adapted swim team, and other adapted recreational events. We have volunteer opportunities available year-round. Please email brian@focus-ga.org for details. Volunteers must fill out an application, consent to a background check if over 18 years old, and possibly attend an orientation session for specific activities.

- Counselors arrive on Saturday for training. Campers arrive on Sunday afternoon and leave Friday morning. Counselors stay all week and depart by lunchtime on Friday.
