Can you spare a few hours a week to help seniors in MINOOKA and/or MORRIS, ILLINOIS!
Meals on Wheels is looking for volunteers for Will County, Illinois:
1) Meal Delivery Drivers in Minooka. Volunteers are needed between 10am and 1pm to help with delivering meals to seniors in the Minooka, IL area. Delivery takes about 2 hours and will include dropping off meals at approximately 12 different homes.
2) Meal Packers are needed to help on Thursday and/or Friday from 7am until 10:30am, to help pack meal delivery bags. Location is at Saratoga Towers in Morris, IL (1700 Newton Drive, Morris).

Join us for lunch!
Fight against hunger by giving back to the older adults in your community! The Community Nutrition Network needs your help serving meals at our café sites as well as delivering meals to homebound adults. These opportunities can last anywhere from 1-3 hours and are located at various sites throughout the northern Illinois area.
At The Community Nutrition Network, we strive to keep older adults and persons with disabilities an active part of their community by providing them with the support they need. Much more than a meal, our programs combat depression and isolation, offers companionship, and provides safety checks for homebound adults.
