Are you friendly? enthusiastic? Do you enjoy talking with others? If so, Catholic Charities warmly invites you to help us schedule clients for our food pantry "pick up". Food Pantry pick up takes place on Thursday morning, BUT scheduling a pick-up time takes place every day! We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic individuals to answer our phones (at our front desk), retrieve messages and call clients to schedule and confirm pick up appointments.

Suggested hours are 9:15 a.m. to1:00 p.m. for mornings and 1:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. for the afternoons Actual hours can be flexible and training is provided.

2 Shifts

  • 09:15 AM to 01:00 PM
    Every other Thursday morning and Friday mornings. Times can vary.
  • 01:15 PM to 04:45 PM
    Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons.. Times can vary.

Description

Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte provides services encompassing assistance to individuals and families experiencing a need for:

  • Foster care, adoption and pregnancy services
  • Individual, marriage and family counseling
  • Distribution of donated services to the needy
  • Food Pantry
  • Acute emergency services
  • Enrichment services
  • Burial Support

Catholic Charities (CCDOC) Refugee Resettlement program is an affiliate of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), one of the national voluntary agencies participating in the federal government's refugee resettlement program. For the past 30 years, the CCDOC Refugee Resettlement program has embraced the mission of providing quality services and a caring support system that will empower our refugee clients to become self-sufficient, self-reliant, and productive members of society. On average, CCDOC Refugee Resettlement program resettles and supports between 350 and 400 refugees per year. All of our services are non-sectarian and do not promote any religious belief or affiliation.
