In our Community Kitchen we get to have fun, rock out to music, and work side-by-side with a small group to prepare nutritious, made-from-scratch meals and snacks that feeds children and seniors! At any given time, you could be prepping food, packing meals or snacks, and helping with kitchen cleaning. You don’t need any kitchen experience and we will show you every step of the way.

*Shifts are typically 2 hours, but we are flexible. We could really use help in the Early Bird shift 6a-8a.

And....the very special Kids' Café Cooler Prep for Food Shares role, where you'll be helping load the Kids' Café meals prepared to be distributed at the Food Shares in the Coolers for the next day. We have also added one shift in the afternoon to help us clean up after the crazy amount of meal production for our increased summer feeding programs. Please come jam with us as we get the Kitchen back together.

Volunteers 10 years of age or older are welcome. A parent or guardian must accompany a volunteer ages 10-15. Volunteers who are 16 & 17 years of age may volunteer unaccompanied with a signed waiver from their parent or guardian.
