Help bring cheer and smiles to an older Minnesotan this fall/winter with your friendly voice and listening ear. Be a Coffee Talker!

Coffee Talk is a drop-in chat line that connects socially isolated older adults in the state with caring volunteers like you for friendly conversation.

With words of encouragement and a listening ear, you will provide callers with friendly conversation, information about community resources, and opportunities to connect them with other Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly programs. Callers can remain anonymous, and there is no need to register or make an appointment. Volunteers answer calls Monday through Friday from 8 am to Noon. Will you be there to answer when someone calls to chat?

Volunteers must be 18+, complete a background check and be available for one, four-hour shift from 8-12, one day a week (M-F). This is a virtual volunteer opportunity with training and staff support provided.

For more information about helping older adults take active steps in improving their overall wellbeing, please contact Ann Fosco afosco@littlebrothersmn.org or 612-746-0725.
