Mychal's Learning Place needs help pulling together the many pieces for our Day of the Dead Drag Queen Bingo fundraiser this year!
As a committee member, come hear about our mission and how we are supporting youth and young adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their goals and dreams. You'll help us pull together all the parts of a successful fundraiser including:
- Marketing
- Volunteer recruitment & training
- Sponsor Relations
- Decorations
- Day of event: set up, check-in, bartenders, take down
This will be an ongoing recruitment from now until October 31st so reach out any time!

Description
Mychal's Learning Place is committed to fulfilling the needs of the whole community and providing an accessible place for children, adults, and families to call home. Operating from two locations - a primary site in Hawthorne as well as an additional site in Culver City - Mychal's Learning Place recognizes that by challenging children to succeed and having high expectations as they reach adulthood, we are empowering them to live independent, fulfilled, and productive lives. We emphasize interactive and inclusive environments; learning activities that will transfer to life-long independent living skills, job skills necessary for gainful employment, self-respect and knowledge of individual strengths and empowerment through education.
