ORGANIZATION: Sea Save Foundation

Do you love keeping up with all the latest ocean news from around the world? Ne species, challenges, scientific breakthroughs are happening every week and we are consolidating these stories so our busy readers can stay up to date.

The Sea Save Foundation leadership believes that we must have an informed public before we can tackle the strong challenges facing ocean futures. We need your help. If you have good grammar and can dedicate a consistent amount of time each week, then please let us know, we could use your help. We have a super team, we learn a lot and we have a great time doing it!

The Ocean Week in Review is completed on Thursday, and since these are news stories, most of the work is completed on Wednesday or Thursday morning. Most weeks each volunteer has about ten stories to read and recap into a one paragraph summary.

About Sea Save Foundation

20540 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265, US

Mission Statement

Sea Save Foundation stands witness to the health of the oceans and the threats they face, we document problems and develop solutions, arm people with knowledge, and tools so they can make a difference. With the public as our ally, we go to the United Nations and other global bodies to effect international change. We attend these meetings so we can offer creative, economically viable, sustainable, and environmentally friendly plans to decision-makers. We also make sure everyone is doing their best to meet their targets.

Sea Save Foundation approaches conservation from two fronts:

  1. We develop and promote inspiring educational campaigns that showcase the beauty of ocean flora and fauna and underscore the current challenges facing our marine ecosystems.
  2. We couple serious environmental issues with concrete advocacy campaigns undertaken by our supporters and partners. With these programs, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of ocean conservation and create sustainable, healthy ecosystems for generations to come. It’s your ocean. Do something about it!
