Scottsdale Abrazo Hospital ls located in Phoenix at Bell road and Interstate 51. This 130+ bed hospital is looking for dedicated individuals who are looking for a rewarding journey by helping others in a healthcare setting,
Our hospital is looking for Adult volunteers who have the following traits:
A passion to want to help others
The ability to cherish great friendships and a fun atmosphere
A need to keep busy and help dedicated healthcare professionals
Someone who is a problem solver
Someone who loves to share their life skills and learn new ones

Covid safety protocols are in place for all volunteers.
Volunteers are only expected to work an average of 4 hours per week. We have a need to find great people who want to help in the various departments on campus. Volunteer opportunities range from doing customer service roles such as information desk, escort/wayfinding volunteer, admin duties, or help provide customer service roles in clinical care areas. We hope you will take a moment to apply to our rewarding program!
ATT: volunteer opportunities do not fall under the category of job employment, or educational clinical/ job shadowing. If individuals are interested in such opportunities, they should contact the human resources department at Abrazo health, or their local educational institution they are attending for internship or partnership programs.

Our dedicated volunteers play an integral role in overall hospital operations. Serving as ambassadors to patients and visitors, volunteers greet and direct patients, assist nursing floors and provide clerical support.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are a valued part of the team at abrazo scottsdale campus and their roles can be defined in three categories:
Support To Visitors And The Public
- Providing A Friendly And Welcoming Environment At Our Main Reception Desk And Our Outpatient Reception Desk
- Guiding Our Visitors Throughout The Facility
Support To Patients And Caregivers
- Provide friendly visiting and rounding to our patients on the nursing units
- Providing hospitality services to our newly admitted patients
- Provide valued assistance in our emergency department
Support Behind-The-Scenes
- Clerical support, answering telephones, stocking supplies, delivering supplies, running errands, delivering and picking up meal trays, assisting in our food service area, mail delivery
