Singing Volunteers Needed for Hospice Patients in Santa Rosa and Surrounding Areas

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Continuum Care Hospice

Continuum Hospice seeks volunteers in Santa Rosa and surrounding areas to offer comfort through gentle singing to our hospice patients.

(Must be a resident of Sonoma, Marin, or Napa County)

Music often accompanies us throughout our lives and is a meaningful and important part of the many transitions we encounter. As we make our final transition to the end of our lives, calm and peaceful singing brings beautiful and much-needed comfort to patients and their loved ones. If you are a part of a choir or have experience with peaceful, soothing, and calming non-religious singing, you can become a valued part of someone's life in making their final chapter beautiful.

Hospice volunteering will give you an opportunity to truly make a difference in another's life. Your smile, your listening, your attention, and your compassionate presence will bring the important gift of connection and affirmation to someone in their last phase of life.

You will receive an orientation to hospice concepts as well as training for your patient visits and you will be well-supported and greatly appreciated by Patients, their families, and the entire hospice team.

Please contact us for more information. We look forward to talking with you.
