Calling all Reiki Practitioners and Massage Therapists-Ascend Hospice embraces and utilizes holistic therapies like Reiki, Massage, and Aromatherapy and is seeking volunteers to provide these therapies to our hospice patients.
Ascend Hospice provides patients, with a life limiting condition, the opportunity to live life more fully with control, comfort, and dignity. Our team provides exceptional care including emotional and spiritual support. Volunteers are the heart of hospice and a vital member of our hospice team.
Hospice volunteer training is required and provided free of charge. In keeping with Medicare requirements background, DMV, and medical clearances are a part of the training process. All volunteers must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
