HELP OUT: Community Movie Nights

At the Clairemont Chamber of Commerce's drive-in movie nights two groups benefit. The business community is able to reach out to the community by sponsoring the event and selling food. The school site has the added benefit of having funds raised for their school to add new curriculum, as well as improving their connection to the community.
Volunteers assist attendees by directing them to food stations and restrooms, while reinforcing socially distancing to ensure safety throughout the event. They also will assist with parking control and emptying trash receptacles for the drive-in movie event.
When attendees are settled into their cars to watch the movie, volunteers are welcome to enjoy the movie as well.

Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes
Attire: Volunteers will be walking a lot so comfortable, sturdy shoes are recommended. Dress in layers to stay warm, this project takes place outside at night.
Safety: Wearing a face mask is required when working around attendees.
Physical Requirements: Constant walking/standing
Weather: This event is canceled for inclement weather. Volunteers will be notified of cancelation by 1:00pm the day of the event.

We will require some help in directing traffic into drive-in spaces. Also, while maintaining social distancing, assist attendees in reaching portable bathrooms and food tables. Emptying trash receptacles.
