The Animal Pad all-breed dog rescue is in need of a dedicated Foster-Event Coordinator to join our amazing volunteer team!
This volunteer would be in charge of inviting our fosters and their foster dogs to all of our events, as well as helping to coordinate transport for the foster pups whose fosters are unable to attend. We have an adoption/fundraising event pretty much once every week (sometimes twice in one week), and we always need our TAP foster pups signed up to attend these events so they can get as much adoption exposure as possible! Some dogs are unable to attend events due to other reasons, aside from their foster just not being available to bring them. Whether a dog is on medical hold (and cannot attend public events until medically cleared), working through some behavioral issues, or just would not do well in a crowded/tightly packed environment, we'll let you know!

Mission Statement
The Animal Pad is a nonprofit, all-breed dog rescue based in San Diego, CA that focuses on saving dogs from the streets of Mexico and high kill shelters. We get them the vet care they need, place them in foster homes and then find them loving forever families. Our mission is to form a safe space for dogs experiencing crisis and neglect, and to build a community of compassion through education, rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption. Our community of volunteers and fosters strives to ensure that all dogs get a fighting chance, and believes that no case is too extreme to be helped - meaning our rescue is full of perfectly imperfect dogs who can’t wait to meet you! Being operated solely by volunteers and funded entirely by donations, none of what we do could be possible without our dedicated team!
Description
Here at TAP, we give voice to the voiceless and our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find them the best homes possible. Founded in 2010, The Animal Pad is volunteer run and funded entirely by donations. We rescue dogs primarily off the streets of Mexico, and provide them full medical care and a loving foster home to heal in before they head to their adoptive home.
