Volunteer Opportunities
Description
Support The Servant’s Heart staff with projects and tasks connected to the agency mission. Volunteer work can be completed at the office, events, and in the field. Tasks range from
1. Late docket showers at the local shelter on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from1 pm to 3:30 pm.
2. Friday Gear Room and outreach restock, 9 am to 1 pm
4. Saturday night Outreach, 6 pm to 10 pm
5. Apartment maintenance assistant
6. Boots on the ground daily in 3-hour shifts
7. Upcoming fundraisers
Commitment
We ask volunteers for a 3-to-12-month commitment. Go through training. Be on time, show up when scheduled, follow the rules and respect others.
Requirements
- Completing a volunteer application
- Truly have a volunteer heart of service, a desire to be supportive and encouraging of the home challenge.
- Interested in assisting staff and the agency work towards its mission
- Willingness to complete the hours' requirement over a time frame agreed upon by volunteer and The Servant’s Heart staff. Responsible and reliable in volunteering at scheduled times and documenting volunteer times.
- Treat all you encounter with respect.

Description
The goal of our work is to help each individual reach their full potential. Our approach is to meet each person where they are and support them as they work toward a life of stability, productivity, meaning, hope, and self-sufficiency. We provide backpacks, school supplies, and clothes to help homeless children who are starting or going back to school.
Hospice or Respite Care to help homeless individuals diagnosed with chronic and terminal illnesses.
