The Salvation Army of Auburn serves many individuals and families in need in the community. One of many services we offer is through our Food Pantry. The Food Pantry is always in great need of volunteers.
Regular volunteer hours are Mondays through Fridays from 9:00am - 2:00pm with a lunch break in between.
Monday, Wednesday, Fridays: Food distribution days. This opportunity can be fast paced (depending on the volume of clients), packing food items, assisting in wheeling cart to vehicle, some heavy lifting. We do ask our volunteers to plan to stay til 2:00pm.
Tuesdays and Thursday: Restocking days. This opportunity involves packing food bags, heavy lifting, restocking shelves. Scheduling is more flexible on these days.

Description
The Salvation Army of Auburn provides many services and programs to the community with the generous support of our community. Food Pantry is in great need of volunteers throughout the week 9:30am - 2pm with lunch break in between. We also provide youth programs and many special events throughout the year that is greatly supported by volunteers. We love to service our community by Doing The Most Good to support and provide to those in need.
