Animal Guardians Horse Rescue, Inc. is actively recruiting Leadership Team Volunteers (Board Members and Committee Chairs) on an ongoing basis. All positions are open for positive, team-oriented, honest, communicative, no-drama individuals over the age of 18 with leadership drive and experience. The organization is a small 501(c)3 public non-profit equine sanctuary and community service organization, home-based in Simi Valley, CA, with various foster care and private home boarding locations for our equines. Our horses and ponies range from 21 to 41 years old, and are permanently retired from riding due to special needs. We have an ongoing need for:
1.) Board, President

4.) Volunteer Coordinator
5.) Volunteer Training Director / Mentor
6.) Assistant Facilitator, EAL Program - Horse Powered Reading
7.) Youth Programming Director
8.) Community Outreach & Special Events Coordinator
9.) Fundraising & Donor Relations Committee Chair

We are a member of The Homes For Horses Coalition, the HSUS Safe Stalls Network, the HSUS Fund for Animals Forever Foundation Training Program, the ASPCA Horse Action Team, and an Adoptions Partner with the Ventura, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and San Bernadino County Depts. of Animal Services / ACC.
