Animal Guardians Horse Rescue, Inc. has an ongoing recruitment for Horse Husbandry (grooming and basic care) and Natural Horsemanship Training Volunteers in Simi Valley, CA. Our equines range from 21 to 41 years old, 34" to 16 hands tall. We are looking for Volunteers over the age of 18, with some horse experience, to assist with grooming, ground work, and basic barn chores at multiple sites located within 2 miles of each other in Simi Valley, CA. All equines are fostered or privately boarded separately, so commuting is required. We also need Volunteers to assist with community outreach events and EAL Horse Powered Reading sessions. This is not a riding opportunity. Our equines are permanently retired from riding. See more about our organization at: www.animalguardianshorserescue.org.
