All of our stations that offer services to our homeless population are ran by volunteers. We use volunteers between the hours of 7:30am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri. Our volunteers do the following...
- Cafe - prep, serve, and cleanup for breakfast Mon, Wed-Fri and snack Mon-Fri
- Showers - clean shower rooms after each use, set supply baskets, call next person, handle mail
- Laundry - wash, dry, fold individual laundry loads, hand out hygiene supplies, keep room organized/clean
- Tech Room - Monitor computer / phone use. Help with resumes, email sign up, be a source of information
- Check In - Write information from all participants that access our property, what services they want
- Front Desk - Answer phones, answer front door, interact with community, accept proper donations
- Dayroom Monitor - Keep track of all who are in the building and proper sanitization, offer games, puzzles
- Clinic - Current medical licensure needed. Mon-Fri 8am-3pm options to serve
- Maintenance - Clean interior of building daily, upkeep outside landscape, light gardening, etc
- OFF SITE - Various times throughout the year we rehab housing that is donated to us. Construction skills

Description
Daybreak, a Project of Depaul USA, is a day/resource center that provides Macon's homeless population with critical services, all in one place. Located in a 6,000 square foot former warehouse on the edge of the central business district in Macon, Georgia, Daybreak provides hygiene, health, education, and job preparation for the homeless population in the area. Daybreak is supported by a collaborative effort of Macon's faith community as well as many civic, commercial, and community agencies. Working together, people who are facing homelessness can move towards housing stability and lives of greater dignity.

- Housing assistance with our 4 houses and other local agencies
- Communications access via internet and telephones,
- Counseling and referral to other service agencies in Macon
- Free Medical Clinic, partnerships with local doctor and pharmacy resources
