The DAV (Disabled American Veterans) Department Of California established in 1922, is a nonprofit organization. In 1987 The DAV Transportation Network began to ensure that injured or ill veterans are able to get to their important medical appointments. Without this service many veterans would go without the medical benefits they need, which they have earned through service and sacrifice to preserve our way of life. Volunteer drivers are the key to the success of this transportation program, without them none of this would be possible!!!

Please consider becoming a DAV volunteer driver and help our fellow veterans get to their medical appointments. The DAV Transportation Network located at the VAMC Loma Linda Health Care System is in urgent need of volunteers!!! You do not need to be a Veteran to apply. Men, Women or College students age 18 or older are needed. Volunteer drivers should have a good driving record (standard C-class drivers license). Please contact Steven A. Salazar (DAV Transportation Coordinator)at steven.salazar@davcal.org or (909) 825-7084 Ext. 5020/5530 to further assist you in the process or answer any questions.

Thank you for your time and consideration. We hope to see you soon as a DAV VOLUNTEER DRIVER!!
