ORGANIZATION: Catholic Charities Family & Community Services

  • 1 person is interested

Our Refugee Department is looking for your help! Working with a group of no more than 4 people, walk clients through the process of taking public transportation.

  • 3 month commitment
  • Hours would be within Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (we would call ahead of time to schedule hours)
  • In-person at 87 N. Clinton Ave (masks are required)

Our building is located next door to the RTS bus depot, so you would take clients to the bus station, explain how to read the schedules, how to be safe, explain how routes work, and do a test run with the client from our office, to Refugee Health Center, to OASES then back to their home. If an interpreter is needed, we would provide! Patience is a must.

**This position does not involve a set schedule. The refugee volunteer coordinator will reach out weekly with available opportunities**
